Martin Hewitt - piano, keyboards, clarinet & saxophone

Leeds born Martin Hewitt took to the piano as a four year old showing early promise with private tuition and a supportive home background. In teenage years he gained invaluable experience playing for local dance schools, finally making the transition into the professional world of music, playing keyboards and singing in hotels, restaurants and clubs. The clarinet and saxophone also taken up during formative years provided Martin with solo instruments and playing in the Leeds College of Music Concert Band under Jack Garside added an all important extra performing opportunity. Martin now combines teaching for Education Leeds with a busy performance schedule in an ever increasing variety of venues.
