Matt Miles began studying the double bass at the age of eleven and went on to study at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He has subsequently proven to be one of the rising, young talents in the jazz field and has worked with Charles McPherson, Bill Watrous, Art Farmer, Teddy Edwards, George Masso, Howard Alden and Harry Allen amongst many others.
He has recorded with Dave Newton and Electronic, Alan Barnes Magic Projects and Anthony Kerr. This is his first recording with Tony Coe.
