Gareth Williams has risen to prominence as Claire Martin's pianist and was musical director on her last album recorded in New York. He has appeared frequently at Ronnie Scott's club in London with his own trio and is a regular member of Jim Mullen's band. He has also appeared with many international jazz musicians including Art Farmer and James Moody.
